With this site I hope to increase knowledge of the importance of society’s infrastructure and develop ideas and initiatives for creating ecostructure, environmentally benign and sustainable infrastructure for humanity, our communities, commerce, communication, prosperity and wellbeing. My broader professional goal is to encourage humanity’s efforts to achieve sustainable and equitable high living standards while conserving this Earth that is our home.
I have assembled definitions developed in my previous work into a glossary to resolve ambiguities in common usage or to address particular considerations regarding the interactions of people, infrastructure, and environment. I offer this glossary as a resource to practitioners and anyone who is concerned about humanity’s future.
